AUDIOSLAVE Guitarist's THE NIGHTWATCHMAN To Perform In Virginia

AUDIOSLAVE guitarist Tom Morello's solo alter ego, THE NIGHTWATCHMAN, will be performing at Jammin' Java in Vienna, VA on April 8. Also appearing on the bill are BOOTS RILEY (from THE COUP) and THE U-LINERS. The show is a benefit show for the Axis of Justice, a non-profit organization formed by Morello and SYSTEM OF A DOWN frontman Serj Tankian to bring together musicians, fans, and grassroots political groups to fight for social justice, peace and human rights. Morello has performed as the NIGHTWATCHMAN for several years, with his first high-profile exposure in the role coming on 2003's "Tell Us the Truth" tour.

THE NIGHTWATCHMAN songs are featured on "Songs and Artists That Inspired Fahrenheit 9/11" and "Tell Us the Truth: The Live Concert Recording", both of which came out in October 2005. THE NIGHTWATCHMAN also appears on "Axis of Justice: Concert Series Volume I", which was released in November 2005.
